Nos gusta beber local, así que en nuestra última visita al Burgo de Osma (si no habéis estado por la zona no tenéis ni idea de lo que es un verdadero torrezno) probamos, entre otras cosas, este Atalayas de Golbán Crianza 2016.
Se trata de un monovarietal de Tempranillo con una vinificación convencional y una crianza de 12 meses en barricas de roble francés.
A la hora de catarlo no hay sorpresas. La fruta negra es la que manda en un vino poco persistente, sencillo y muy agradable, perfecto para chatear sin robarle el protagonismo a lo verdaderamente importante: los torreznos.

We like to drink local wines, so in our last visit to El Burgo de Osma (if you have not been to the area you have no idea what a real torrezno is) we tasted, among other things, this Atalayas de Golbán Crianza 2016.
It’s a Tempranillo varietal with a conventional vinification and aging for 12 months in French oak barrels.
There are no surprises during the tasting. The black fruit is the main actor in a wine that is not very persistent nor complex but very pleasant, perfect to take by the glass without stealing the spotlight on what is really important: the torreznos.
