La noche que probamos El Puntido es una de esas noches en las que los astros parecen aliarse. Y es que no hay muchas noches en las que te encuentres celebrando una fecha especial, en un sitio especial como es Logroño, compartiendo una cena fantástica y un vino fabuloso en la mejor compañía posible.
El Puntido 2013 es un monovarietal de Tempranillo procedente de una única finca que le da nombre. Su elaboración es tradicional, realiza la fermentación maloláctica en barrica y tiene una crianza de 16 meses en barrica nueva de roble francés.
Su color nos muestra que todavía tiene mucha vida por delante, con un halo cereza y una capa brillante. La nariz es compleja y generosa, con fruta roja madura al frente de unos aromas entre los que también destacan especias, ahumados, monte bajo y azúcar quemado. En boca la fruta sigue llevando la batuta, arropada por un delicioso caramelo y por notas balsámicas. Su trago es largo y equilibrado, con taninos muy suaves, y en el posgusto encontramos notas lácticas y de fruta compotada en un vino muy serio y estructurado; uno de esos vinos capaces de fijarse en tu memoria para hacer de una noche especial un recuerdo imborrable.

The night we tasted El Puntido is one of those nights in which the stars seem to ally. And there are not many nights in which you are celebrating a special date, in a special place like Logroño, sharing a fantastic dinner and a fabulous wine in the best company.
El Puntido 2013 is a Tempranillo single-varietal from a single plot that gives it its name. Its elaboration is traditional, it carries out the malolactic fermentation in barrels and has a 16 months aging in new French oak barrels.
Its color shows that it still has a lot of life ahead, with a cherry rim and a shiny layer. The nose is complex and intense, with ripe red fruit in front and aromas of spices, smoke, countryside and burnt sugar. In the palate the fruit continues at front, wrapped in a delicious caramel and balsamic notes. Its sip is long and balanced, with very soft tannins, and in the aftertaste we find lactic and fruit notes in a very serious and structured wine; one of those wines that are made for a special night.
