Tanuki Bob 2016 es un varietal de uva autóctona Manto Negro (90 %) con un pequeño aporte de Syrah (10 %). Fermenta, hace la maloláctica y se cría durante nueve meses en un foudre de roble francés de 4.000 litros, nueve meses más en depósito de acero inoxidable y seis meses en botella.
Lo probamos hace algunos meses en una cata, y no pudimos evitar traernos a Tanuki Bob con nosotros para disfrutarlo en casa más tranquilamente. En ambos casos, la experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria.
Tanuki Bob 2016 muestra un color cereza muy traslúcido. Su nariz es discreta; encontramos fresa ácida, compotada y ciruela verde. La boca es deliciosa y coherente con la nariz: regaliz, caramelo, cerezas y ciruela; hay cierto amargor, frescura sin verdores, equilibrio, elegancia…
Y mientras contemplas a Tanuki rascarse ociosamente la barriga, no vas a poder evitar acabar la botella como si fuera agua.

Tanuki Bob 2016 is a Manto Negro native grape varietal (90%) with a small contribution of Syrah (10%). It ferments, makes the malolactic and ages for nine months in a 4,000 liter French oak foudre, nine more months in stainless steel tank and six months in the bottle.
We tried it a few months ago in a tasting, and we couldn’t help bringing Tanuki Bob with us to enjoy it more quietly at home. In both cases, the experience has been very satisfactory.
Tanuki Bob 2016 shows a very translucent cherry color. Its nose is discreet; we find sour strawberry, compote and green plum. The palate is delicious and consistent with the nose: licorice, caramel, cherries and plum; there is a certain bitterness, freshness without greenery, balance, elegance …
And while you watch Tanuki scratching his belly idly, you won’t help finishing the bottle as if it were water.
