Probamos este vino a ciegas, en una cena con amigos, y no dimos ni una. Estábamos en Ponferrada, y lo único que teníamos claro era que aquel vino no era del Bierzo. Por supuesto, nos equivocabamos. Y es que este vino elabarado por Raúl Pérez junto con Noelia de Paz es una auténtica rareza dentro de la zona.
La Tentación 2012 es un monovarietal de Pinot Noir que fermenta con raspón en tinos abiertos de madera de 500 litros y tiene una crianza de 12 meses en barricas de roble francés.
Se trata de un vino al que la botella le ha sentado bien, con aromas a frutos negros y flores acompañado de notas especiadas y cacao. En boca es ligero, equilibrado, con una acidez muy agradable y con la fruta muy presente.
Es una de esas rarezas que te sientes muy afortunado de probar, ya que, hasta la fecha, no ha vuelto a elaborarse.

We tasted this wine blind, at a dinner with friends, and we were wrong all the time. We were in Bierzo, and the only thing we were clear about was that this wine wasn’t local. Of course, we were wrong. And it’s that this wine elaborated by Raúl Pérez together with Noelia de Paz is a real rarity in the area.
La Tentación 2012 is a Pinot Noir single-varietal that ferments with the whole cluster in open 500-liter wooden vats and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
The time in the bottle has been good for this wine, it nose has aromas of black fruits and flowers accompanied by spicy notes and cocoa. In the palate it’s light, balanced, with a very pleasant acidity and a lot of fruit.
It’s one of those rarities that you feel very lucky to try, as, to date, it has not been elaborated again.
